CHILDBIRTH CLASSES

Feel prepared, confident, and ready.

Our small-group or private childbirth classes teach you the skills, mindset, and real-life tools that leave you feeling fully prepared for childbirth and beyond.

Why Childbirth Education Matters

Birth is one of life’s most powerful experiences. Understanding what’s happening in your body can replace fear with calm and confidence. Leaving you empowered, not overwhelmed. Evidence-based classes help you feel informed, supported, and ready — no matter how your story unfolds.

  • Education builds your “toolkit” for managing labor; body, mind, and breath. You’ll practice techniques like breathing and relaxation, movement and positioning, massage and counterpressure for relief-skills that bring peace and presence to birth.

  • Birth is a shared journey. Partners who attend classes feel more confident and connected. These moments of learning together build teamwork, empathy, and calm connection long before labor begins. Preparation brings you closer.

  • When you understand your options, you can ask meaningful questions, weigh risks and benefits, and express your birth preferences clearly. Education increases shared decision-making and communication with your care team. You have gain the knowledge to make choices that support your body’s process and reduce unnecessary interventions.

Common Questions

  • When should we take a childbirth class?

Most families start between 20–30 weeks. Enough time to learn, practice, and build confidence together is important for preparation.

  • Can I bring a support person?

Yes. Your registration includes both you and your support person. It is strongly recommended to bring a support person to every class. You do not need to bring the same support each time, you are aslo welcome to bring your doula.

  • What if I already took the hospital class?

Hospital classes focus on policies and procedures. We focus on skills, support, partner connection, advocacy, mindset, and the physiological processes of labor and birth. The relaxation techniques we cover are not included in the hospital classes.
